Greg Gattuso is still Maryland’s defensive line coach.
He also has a new title: Assistant head coach.

“That will take some of the responsibilities that I have that I can put to him in terms of speaking engagements and things along those lines or when I’m not here in the office because of other obligations I have, it’ll help take some of the responsibilities I have to let him do those situations,” coach Randy Edsall said.
Gattuso was a head coach for 12 years at Duquesne, so he should be plenty familiar with some of the responsibilities that might be tossed his way. He was also the assistant head coach between 2008 and 2010 at Pittsburgh.
