A few plus-minus observations from Maryland’s 64-62 victory at Clemson on Tuesday …

* Maryland’s five starters were a net push. The Terps made up the difference in scoring on the Tigers when their subs were on the floor —- notably Alex Len‘s plus-8 in 11 minutes.

* This is not a stat that has treated Ashton Pankey kindly, but his 26 solid minutes were reflected in a plus-1 outing.

* Pe’Shon Howard looked sluggish throughout the game, especially toward the end when he missed a couple free throws. It wasn’t a giant shock his plus-minus number wasn’t great.

* Three of Maryland’s starters —- Howard, Sean Mosley and James Padgett —- are hovering right around zero in this category on the season. Those three plus Terrell Stoglin are all close to zero in league play.

Maryland, by the way, has a team plus-minus of minus-18 on the season (-0.02 per minute) and minus-22 in ACC play (-0.06 per minute).
