The Caps have announced when training camp — both the rookie and main event editions — will begin. Rookie camp starts Sept. 14 with a game against the Flyers’ kids at K-Plex on Sept. 18 at 3 p.m. Vets will report the next day and the first day of training camp is Sept. 20. That’s 53 days and counting by my math.
