Another lawmaker joined the growing chorus of those who are questioning the safety of Americans attending the Olympics next month in Sochi, Russia.

“Our agencies responsible for our athletes will do everything they can to keep them safe, but clearly it’s a safety concern,” Rep. Steven Horsford, Nevada Democrat, said Monday on MSNBC.

“I don’t know that this is the year we would participate as a family,” he added.

Sen. Angus King, Maine Independent, said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that he also would not go and would not send his family to the games this year.

A video posted online Sunday promised more attacks on tourists during the Olympics, CNN reported. It’s reportedly made by the two young men who claimed responsibility for the two suicide bombings in Volgograd, Russia, last month.
