Checking in from Canton, where I just arrived after traffic around Akron that resembled Waxpool Road en route to last Satuday’s intrasquad scrimmage at Redskin Park. The only evidence of what should be a Redskins-crazed weekend here on my plane out of BWI was one gent in a Clinton Portis jersey.
Anyway, it’s time to head to the Board of Trustees Reception at the McKinley (as in assassinated President William McKinley) Grand Hotel. Darrell Green, Art Monk and the rest of the Hall of Fame Class of 2008 should be there along with some previously enshrined greats.
