The Mid-Atlantic Sports Network confirmed it has hired former Baltimore Sun scribe Roch Kubatko.
Kubatko, who had worked for the Sun for 21 years and covered the Orioles for 12, accepted a buyout package from the Sun last week. His “Roch Around the Clock” blog was one of the most popular blogs on the Sun’s Web site and in the entire Tribune chain. You can read his final blog post here.

According to a MASN press release, Kubatko will continue to blog on MASNsports.com and appear online, on television and on radio in a variety of capacities. He’ll appear on O’s Xtra and Ravens Xtra, the Orioles Hot Stove Show and the Anita Marks show, and will pop in to Orioles pre-game and post-game shows on WHFS.
