Wolverine No. 66

Wolverine No. 66 ($2.99)

Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, the team that brought you Civil War, are together again!  This time they’re bringing us the 8-part story “Old Man Logan”, set fifty years after Millar’s “Enemy of the State” run.  In the words of Mark Millar, “This is the Wolverine story that I want to be remembered for.” Think Road Warrior with Marvel super-villains….

Y: The Last Man Vol.10: Whys and Wherefores TP

Y: The Last Man Vol.10: Whys and Wherefores TP ($14.99)

You can now finally get the complete story of Yorick, the last man on Earth, in book form! Vol. 10 wraps up the story (don’t worry, no spoilers here) for those who’ve been reading all along; and if you haven’t been, now would be a good time to try volume one and get hooked. Definitely a great original take on the “last man on Earth” story—good enough to catapult writer Brian K. Vaughan from comics newcomer to Hollywood darling. Let’s hope he has time to still write a few comics …
