Commanders open training camp with offensive question marks

The countdown to NFL kickoff began in earnest on Tuesday in Ashburn, Virginia, as the Commanders' veterans reported to training camp for their first full-team practice of the offseason. But after another offseason roster overhaul, several question marks dot the offensive depth chart.

Commanders to retire Riggins' No. 44 jersey

No Washington Commander will ever wear No. 44 again. The NFL franchise announced Thursday that it will retire the jersey in honor of Hall of Fame running back John Riggins during a home game against the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 8.
