Trump pauses enforcement of law banning bribery of foreign officials

President Trump signed an executive order Monday directing the Justice Department to pause its enforcement of a decades-old law that prohibits American businesses from bribing officials of foreign governments to win or retain business, saying U.S. laws are stricter than those in other countries and it puts the U.S. at a disadvantage.

Trump names Grenell as interim head of Kennedy Center

President Trump on Monday named his former director of national security, Ric Grenell, as temporary head of the Kennedy Center after he fired several board members and named himself chairman of the Washington performing arts venue.

Trump says he revoked Biden’s security clearance

President Trump said late Friday that he would bar his predecessor, President Biden, from receiving intelligence briefings traditionally given to former presidents, saying that Mr. Biden could not be trusted with sensitive information because a special counsel report concluded he had a "poor memory."
