D.C. mayor imposes 11 p.m. curfew Wednesday

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser on Wednesday imposed the District's fourth curfew amid nationwide protests and rioting over the death of George Floyd while in police custody in Minneapolis last week.

300 D.C. protesters arrested Monday night

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser resisted calls Tuesday to cancel a 7 p.m.-6 a.m. curfew, despite more than 300 people being arrested Monday night for violating the curfew and committing acts of burglary and rioting.

D.C. to enter phase one of reopening Friday

Maryland Walmarts to offer COVID-19 tests

D.C. to possibly begin phased reopening next Friday

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser said Thursday the District could begin a phased reopening as early as next Friday, as the city has recorded 11 of the 14 consecutive days of decline in community transmission required to ease coronavirus restrictions.
