Stephen Strasburg Night at the ballpark isn’t exactly going so well. Not only do the Nationals trail the Brewers 4-2, the game has now gone into a rain delay in the bottom of the eighth.

A massive storm has been on the outskirts of the area most of the evening, but held off until the top of this inning. By the time the two teams switched sides, it was coming down too hard to continue. So the tarp’s on the field, with an indeterminite delay to follow.

We’ll provide any updates if we get them…

UPDATE AT 9:18 P.M.: The rain has eased up and the grounds crew is currently folding the tarp up. So this may not be a very long delay after all.

UPDATE AT 9:27 P.M.: Play has resumed after a 20-minute delay.
