Just passing along this linescore from Stephen Strasburg’s second start against the Houston Astros in instructional league on Saturday — I’m in Minneapolis for Game 3 of the Twins/Yankees series tomorrow, so I have no insight to go on other than the stats the Nats’ PR staff e-mailed a while ago. But the line is pretty impressive:

3 IP, 2H, 1R, 1ER, 0BB, 6K

That Strasburg could be on a pitch count and still strike out six batters is a good sign; he’s been solid so far in instructional league, and we’ll get a better sense of where he’s at in the Arizona Fall League later this month.
