The Washington Times - August 17, 2008, 08:53AM

The blog takes a semi-day off today, though that probably means there will still be four entries or so to look forward to.

For now, there’s plenty of vetting of quarterbacks after Maryland‘s second scrimmage. Again.

Here’s my dead tree edition take on the situation.

The Washington Post’s Eric Prisbell writes that Ralph Friedgen acknowledges the predicament he’s in: “There might be a ACC team with a better quarterback out there, but I don’t know if they have three quarterbacks as good as ours,” sayeth the big fella.

And here’s more quarterback stuff from Sandra McKee of the Baltimore Sun.

A closer look at the scrimmage is coming within the hour.
