It really did feel like there should be a clip show today during Ralph Friedgen’s media session.

Just roll all the best moments from camp and have a few laughs. Even toss in a non-answer to an injury question.

(Speaking of which, where is that supposed injury report? Guess that “suggested” policy will go down as just that, at least for the first week.)

Anyway, Ralph opened by asking “Are you ready?” I figured I’d catch him off guard and ask if he had any questions he wanted to ask us.

“Oh, I got a lot of questions,” Friedgen said. “I don’t think I’d like the answers.”

No, probably not.

Here’s the big news: Obi Egekeze, not David May, will be handling the kickoff duties. Egekeze overtook May during camp, with his hang times a bit better and their distance is roughly the same.

Yes, that’s the big news of the day, which would be understandably big to Egekeze and May but probably not as much to many others.

So endeth the four-week buildup to the opener.
