Yet another fundraiser for President Obama has received the reward of a sought-after ambassadorship.
Robert A. Sherman, who raised at least $1.2 million for the president’s reelection, was nominated by Mr. Obama Thursday to become U.S. ambassador to Portugal. He’s at least the 13th big-money fundraiser to receive a plum diplomatic post from the president this year.
