The Redskins are on the practice field and all 53 guys had a helmet and were active — that hasn’t happened in awhile.
The big press conference introducing Bruce Allen is in 15 minutes.

There’s been some chatter as to whether the Redskins followed the Rooney Rule (interview a minority candidate) before hiring Allen.
The NFL said they did.
During his chat on NFL.com, I submitted a question on the topic for commissioner Roger Goodell, which he answered.
Goodell wrote:”The Redskins have been in contact with our office throughout the process and have followed the proper procedures of the Rooney Rule.”
