Jim Zorn is talking on his radio show right now and said tight end Chris Cooley’s surgery to insert three screws for his right ankle fracture was a success and Cooley could be back in four weeks.
“The first thought was that he was going to be out eight weeks; this particular surgery was done - it was very non-evasive procedure and it was done in such a way that it if all goes well, will get him back in as little as four weeks,” Zorn said. “It’s a risk and it looks like it’s going to be a pretty good risk.”
