The buzz at the U.S. Open is over the incident involving Serena Williams and a lines judge last night. 

We now know that Serena did indeed threaten the judge, saying “I swear..I want to take this ball and shove it down your [expletive] throat.”

This is not good, and there are rumblings that the USTA would have defaulted her from the match if they knew what she said at the time. USTA officials have reviewed the tapes are are examining what to do next, but a default from the doubles final tomorrow isn’t out of the question.
