Liberal bloggers, who helped spark the rise of Barack Obama, have been somewhat critical of the presumptive Democratic candidate of late.

Markus Moulitsas, founder of The Daily Kos, took some heat for putting heat on Mr. Obama for moving a bit to the center.

Mr. Obama had said he would fillibuster the wiretapping bill this summer. Instead, he voted for it.

“I don’t buy that Obama is a centrist,” Mr. Moulitsas said Sunday. “What he did on the intelligence bill was negating a political attack from the right. He did it for political reasons.

“We’re going to disagree with Obama” he says. “But he is not going to be like the Republicans who watched George Bush destroy America. We’re not going to agree with everything Obama does, but at least he will take this country in the right direction.”
