Wolverine: Get Mystique trade paperback from Marvel Publishing

Wolverine: Get Mystique, trade paperback, Marvel Publishing ($10.99)

Rapidly rising star, Jason Aaron (Scalped, The Other Side) fills in a bit of Wolverine’s history, showing us some of Wolverine and Mystique’s history through the ages. Ostensibly a follow-up to Messiah complex, but basically just an excuse to let Jason Aaron strut his stuff. Fine by me!

Halo: Uprising, No. 3 from Marvel Publishing

Halo: Uprising, No. 3, Marvel Publishing ($3.99)

I don’t even know if you can get the first two issues of this series, but I thought I’d mention this book as a service to Brian Bendis fans, since you probably forgot that this book even exists. All four issues of this series were supposed to be out last year to tie-in with the Halo 3 videogame launch, and it’s actually really good. Don’t know when #4 will be out, but you can bet the paperback will be out a week later. I’ll remind you.
