Capitals don’t see aging core as issue

The Washington Capitals were the oldest team in the NHL this season, but they believe that core group of veterans still has what it takes to contend for another Stanley Cup.

No-hitters in MLB are aplenty, and there’s no sign of a slowdown

Baseball is one no-hitter away from tying the modern era single season record of seven. The sport is on pace for more than 20 no-hitters this season -- an eye-popping number, considering the all-time record for a full season was eight, set in 1884.

Nationals lift mask mandate for fully vaccinated fans

Fully vaccinated fans at Nationals Park will no longer be required to wear masks starting Friday, the Washington Nationals announced Wednesday, following D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser's relaxed mask mandate issued earlier this week.
