Trump’s legal peril in New York boils down to a case of falsifying business records

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is said to be nearing a decision on whether to charge former President Donald Trump for alleged wrongdoing involving hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels. If Mr. Bragg does pull the trigger on an indictment, the former president likely would be charged with falsifying business records.
