The Dominican Summer League is a branch of affiliated minor league baseball which is played in the Dominican Republic. The league was founded in 1985. Games run from the beginning of June until the end of August. The 2010 72-game (66 in the San Pedro de Macorís Division including interdivision play with the Boca Chica North Division) season begins May 29 and ends August 21.
