Here’s a fun little bit of minutiae to help get you through the rest of your day.

Georgetown‘s lacrosse schedule was released today. The Hoyas have not announced their basketball schedule just yet.

The lacrosse regular season —- well, Georgetown’s anyway —- won’t start for more than five months. Its basketball season figures to get underway in roughly two.

So that’s sort of amusing.

Anyway, here’s the rundown for Dave Urick’s team, who opens at Maryland on Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. Interestingly, the Terps’ basketball team plays North Carolina that afternoon at Comcast Center at 3:30.

The D1scourse dream scenario shifts that lacrosse game to 11 a.m. The real-life scenario will probably be far different.

But a blogger can dream, right? That would be an early chance to see the Hoyas play in this schedule, which is basically the reverse sites of last year’s slate with the late-March game against Harvard thrown in:

Feb. 21, at Maryland, 1
Feb. 28, at St. John’s, 1
March 7, Syracuse, noon
March 11, at Delaware, TBA
March 14, at Hobart, 1
March 21, at Duke, 1
March 25, Harvard, TBA
March 28, Navy, 1
March 31, at Mount St. Mary’s, 4
April 4, Fairfield, 1
April 11, Loyola, 1
April 18, at Massachusetts, 1
April 25, Rutgers, 1
May 2, Penn State, noon
