If there’s one thing the ACC‘s suggested injury report guidelines has denied me, it’s the chance to provide an NFL-style report of my own.

That became a popular pastime last fall, mainly because the Terps would have listed about 20 guys at certain points in November.

Anyway, Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen quickly rattled off the injuries —- all pretty much known quantities at this point —- and moved along to a rundown of the Eastern Michigan depth chart.

OUT: OT Tyler Bowen (foot), NT Travis Ivey (foot), WR Kevin Dorsey (foot), DE Carl Russell (foot), DL Joe Vellano (shoulder), DE Ricardo Dacosta (foot), QB Jordan Steffy (thumb), S Terrell Skinner (ankle), CB Richard Taylor (knee), WR LaQuan Williams (foot). DOUBTFUL: DE Mack Frost (knee). QUESTIONABLE: TB Da’Rel Scott (shoulder), S Drew Robinson (shoulder).

Everyone else is presumably day-to-day, just like the rest of us.

As for a timetable on some of the guys who are out, Ivey and Skinner would seem to be the most likely of the bunch to play when Maryland opens ACC play on Sept. 27 at Clemson. The only one of the bunch certain to miss the rest of the season is Dorsey, who underwent surgery late last month.
