That really was the Maryland offense showing itself the last two weeks.

Funny how much smarter James Franklin is than he was two weeks ago. That’s what 86 points in a pair of games will do for you.

Want to know how long it’s been since the Terps scored 86 points in back-to-back games? Try late in the 2003 season when they dropped 59 on North Carolina and 27 on Virginia.

Now, beating up on Eastern Michigan should not be much of an accomplishment. And, really, it isn’t, not with conference play starting Saturday. But at least Maryland heads into a trip to Clemson with some semblance of an offense and a quarterback who put well-above-average full games together consecutively for the first time in his career.
