Just got this note from Navy SID Scott Strasemeier, and it’s worth passing along. For all the ink spilled on Maryland’s quarterbacks, it’s probably about time to check with the Mids in this space. So here’s how Navy’s QBs looking heading into Friday’s game at Ball State.

Quarterback Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada will be making the trip to Muncie and will be dressed. Jarod Bryant is the starter and the intention is for Bryant to play the entire game, but Kaipo COULD be available if necessary (it depends on how he feels the next two days).

You might remember that Kaipo missed the Mids’ opener against Towson with a hamstring injury.

It’s also sort of interesting to note Kaipo was knocked out of Navy’s meeting with Ball State last year because of injury, and Bryant came into the back-and-forth game the Cardinals won in overtime.

So that’s the state of the Navy quarterbacks, all in a nice paragraph-sized package. I’ll have more on how Maryland is looking in a little bit.
