Quick Gilbert Arenas knee update: Gil said tonight over the course of a few text messages that as planned, he resumed rehabilitation on his left knee. This comes five days after the three-time All-Star had arthoscopic surgery to remove the lingering debris that to this point had kept him from training, running or jumping without pain.

Gil said that even after working out today his knee feels better than it did before. He has yet to resume weight training, however.

Before last week’s procedure, Agent Zero’s then twice-surgically-repaired knee had strengthened to the point where he was able to do leg extensions lifting four 45-pound plates, or 180 pounds. He said last week that he expected to resume lifting before long, but that it would be starting back to doing extensions of only 45 pounds.
