Democrats are getting closer to winning the majority of the Senate, according to an article by Foxnews.com.
Democrat Kay Hagan won against Republican Sen. Elizabeth Dole after Sen. Dole tried to smear Ms. Hagan by accusing her of “accepting money from the Godless Americans Political Action Committee.”

Meanwhile, Democrat Jeanne Shaheen won against Sen. Jon Sununu in New Hampshire.
“If Democrats win nine of 11 potential turnovers in the Senate, they will have 60 seats for the first time in three decades.”
However, Republicans have been holding on to states such as South Carolina, West Virginia, Oklahoma and Georgia.
