Exit polls found that voters want different things when it comes to their next president, according to a blog by CNN’s Bill Schneider

“Of those who voted for McCain, more than 40 percent said they want a president who ‘shares my values,’ while a nearly equal margin wanted a president with experience,” Mr. Schneider wrote.

However, 60 percent of people who voted for Sen. Barack Obama said they wanted someone who could “bring about change.” Of Obama voters, 20 percent said they wanted a leader who directly shares their beliefs.
