A Starbucks in Columbus, Ohio, gave away about 500 free cups of coffee to voters before 12:45 p.m., according to Debbie Gebolys of the Columbus Dispatch’s Election Day blog.

Starbucks, along with companies such as Chick-Fil-A and Krispy Kreme, all had freebies for anyone who claimed to have voted.

Voters have to wear a sticker to receive the prizes since election law deems the free gifts as potential bribes.
