Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s college grades have been posted by a number of media outlets(h/t TWT’s Tom Culligan for the heads up). Governor Perry, a Republican, graduated from Texas A&M University and according to the Huffington Post, which first found Mr. Perry’s grades:

“The future politician did not distinguish himself much in the classroom. While he later became a student leader, he had to get out of academic probation to do so. He rarely earned anything above a C in his courses — earning a C in U.S. History, a D in Shakespeare, and a D in the principles of economics. Perry got a C in gym.”

While liberals are already bashing the Texas governor for his college grades, it should be remembered that President Barack Obama refused to release his college and law school transcripts unlike previous presidential candidates. Governor Perry is expected to announce his presidential aspirations in late August.
