Tony Romo injured, leaves Cowboys-Redskins game in 3rd quarter

The quarterback was leveled on a blitz by Redskins inside linebacker Keenan Robinson with 7:59 remaining in the third quarter. The team did not announce the nature of the injury Romo sustained, but he lay on the turf for several minutes before being helped to the sideline.

For Colt McCoy, staying ready for his opportunity pays off

Trent Murphy excited for first Redskins start

A second-round pick out of Stanford, Murphy will fill in for outside linebacker Brian Orakpo, who underwent surgery Wednesday morning to repair a torn right pectoral muscle.
