The big problem with Obamacare is that healthy people will have to pick up for the tab for folks who don’t take care of themselves.

That is the message Rep. Lynn A. Westmoreland, Georgia Republican, drove home during an appearance Thursday on C-SPAN, where he said is wrong to try to put everybody into the same “pie.”

“Everybody doesn’t live the same lifestyle,” Mr. Westmoreland said. “Everybody does not keep up their health, so the people who do will be paying for the people that don’t.”

Mr. Westmoreland said that House Republicans likely will push to eliminate the insurance subsidy that is given to members of Congress and their staff as well as President Obama and his political appointees, that will help them purchase coverage on the new insurance exchanges, which kick off next week.
