\ The slant of the questions was meant to play up the Hokies’ formidable history on Thursday nights. But getting asked about “playing under the lights” at Lane Stadium seemed to annoy him a bit.\

\ “They have lights there, right?” Jagodzinski said. “Everyone keeps bringing up the lights. I was hoping Lane Stadium had lights so we could play, right?”\

\ One reporter took a different tack, asking about what it would be like to play at Tech, which is 8-1 on nationally televised Thursday night games.\

\ “It’s the same dimensions as every other field we play on,” Jagodzinski said. “We should be OK, right?”\

\ As for a Virginia Tech note, Hokies coach Frank Beamer said Tyrod Taylor (high ankle sprain) will be a game-time decision tomorrow. If he doesn’t start, Sean Glennon will get the nod.\
