President Obama arrived in Amman, Jordan, Friday evening where he was greeted by King Abdullah II and his son, Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah.

On a windy day in Amman, the presidential limousine pulled into a courtyard of the king’s newly constructed palace. Mr. Obama stepped out and said “Good to see you” and shook hands with the crown prince.

The trio quickly turned and walked together through some carved wooden doors to another room. Circassian guards wearing red capes were standing in the smaller courtyard near the doors or alongside the red carpets.

Mr. Obama and King Abdullah will hold a joint press conference Friday after a bilateral meeting.
