President Obama will share the stage at the White House Easter Egg Roll with the “Kid President” Robby Novak, a 9-year-old whose pep talks to the nation have become a YouTube hit.

The White House said Robby has been chosen as this year’s special guest at the 135th annual event, to be held next Monday. The boy from Henderson, Tenn., gained fame on the Internet by dressing in a suit and recording video pep talks in which he advises viewers, for example, “The world needs you to stop being boring. Boring is easy. Everybody can be boring. But you’re gooder than that.”

Also appearing at this year’s Easter Egg Roll will be the Washington Nationals’ “racing presidents” Abe Lincoln, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt and William Howard Taft.

Other costumed characters to appear include Bugs Bunny, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Dora the Explorer, the Smurfs and the Power Rangers.

About 30,000 people will visit the South Lawn for games, stories, and the traditional egg roll. The White House confirmed last week that the event will be held despite questions about “sequestration” budget cuts that have resulted in the cancellation of public tours of the White House.
