Orioles’ Holliday to miss opening day with broken bone in hand

The Baltimore Orioles will take the field on opening day without one of their young stars. Second baseman Jackson Holliday has a broken hamate bone in his right hand and will miss the start of the season, Mike Elias, president of baseball operations, said Wednesday.
